After Application

You can wash your hair the same day you install the extensions.

Always brush hair gently with a boar bristle extension brush from ends to roots, in a downward motion.

Use the Nixie Hair Extension Brush – designed specifically for extensions.

Washing & Styling

Detangle hair thoroughly before washing.

Avoid toning shampoos, smoothing treatments, or anything that alters the extensions – these void your warranty.

Use a conditioning masque 1–2 times per week to keep extensions moisturized and long-lasting.

Heat styling tip: Never exceed 350°F. Always use a thermal protectant from mid-shaft to ends before applying heat.

Sleeping

Never go to bed with wet or loose hair.

Always detangle and tie hair into a loose braid or ponytail before sleeping.

Swimming & Vacation Tip

Rinse hair immediately after swimming or sweating.

Avoid direct exposure to:

Chlorine, Saltwater, Tanning products, Bronzing sprays, Hard or well water (can cause discoloration).

Apply a leave-in masque before swimming or sweating.

Tie hair in a low braid or ponytail and wear a protective swim cap if possible.

With proper care, Nixie Hair Extensions can last 6 to 12 months — and in many cases, even longer!

How frequently you heat-style or color them

We want you (and your clients) to absolutely love your hair! If you're not 100% satisfied, eligible items may be returned or exchanged within 30 days of receiving your order — as long as they are unused, unaltered, and in their original packaging.

Is the color, texture, and hair type correct?

Did the bundle wash and dry as expected?

Once the hair is installed, cut, or chemically altered, it is considered accepted and is no longer eligible for return or exchange.

Email us at info@nixiehairco.com regarding your the necessary return or exchange.

Hair must be in new condition — clean, dry, untangled, and in its original state.

Secure bundles neatly with a rubber band and wrap them in tissue or a plastic bag.

Tag and strings must not be removed.

💰 Refunds & Store Credit

Refunds will be processed (minus a 10% restock fee) to the original payment method within 24–48 hours after inspection.

Store credits are issued via e-gift card with no merchant fee and can be used anytime online.

⚠️ Restocking Fees & Non-Returnables

Items returned tangled, dirty, wet, or requiring repair are subject to be denied for the return and refund.

Custom orders and sale items are FINAL SALE and cannot be returned or exchanged.
